We had a lively conversation on What Women Want Talk Radio this week week with celebrity guests Melissa Carter and Bill Oberst Jr.  Melissa, a famed Atlanta radio personality, discussed the glass ceiling of the radio world.  Bill, dubbed indie horror’s sexiest man, discussed his vibrant acting career, including his upcoming stage offering, Ray Bradbury’s Pillar of Fire.

Update on Petition for Marcia Nasatir

After several weeks of campaigning, the petition by San Antonio Film Festival to The Board of Governors for the Academy Awards to honor Marcia Nasatir  closed with 455 signatures.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to sign this important petition.

San Antonio Film Festival honors Hollywood Glass Ceiling-Breaker Marcia Nasatir; Petitions Oscars Board of Governors

 

Marcia Nasatir, Hollywood glass ceiling-breaker, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 22nd Annual San Antonio Film Festival.

The 22nd Annual San Antonio Film Festival put women in film front and center this year.  The festival gave its Lifetime Achievement Award to Marcia Nasatir, San Antonio native.  Marcia achieved success as a producer and as the first woman to serve as vice-president of production at a major Hollywood studio, United Artists.
